Photographic Experience for Corporate Events: Multiple Capture Stations at Barcelona's MNAC

When people talk about photography for corporate events, the conversation usually centers on the backdrop, the photocall, or the look of the space.

In large-scale events, though, the real challenge rarely lies in the set itself.

It lies in making the experience run smoothly for every attendee, generating content efficiently, and ensuring the interaction adds real value to the event as a whole.

That was exactly what we set out to solve during an international corporate event held at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona.

A photographic experience spread across seven settings

For this project, the client built seven different spaces throughout the event, each with its own visual concept.

Our role was to integrate the photographic experience into every one of those settings at the same time.

Each point required capture, lighting and content-delivery systems adapted to that specific space's dynamic.

The goal wasn't to repeat the same photograph seven times over.

It was to make each setting deliver an experience consistent with the design planned for the event, while keeping a uniform visual quality across every image produced.

Real-time personalization for attendees

Three of the settings featured a particularly interesting dynamic.

Before the photograph was taken, guests entered the name of their service station on a tablet.

That information was sent automatically to a screen built into the set and became part of the scene in real time.

The photograph stopped being a generic image and became personalized content for each participant.

This kind of integration requires combining photography, software and live operation so the experience feels natural to the guest and runs without interruption throughout the event.

Different ways to interact with the experience

Beyond the personalized settings, the installation included proposals that were very different from one another.

One of the spaces used chroma key technology to generate images against digital backdrops.

Others incorporated large physical elements designed for guests to interact with directly.

More corporate-facing settings were also developed, focused on the brand's visual identity and on producing institutional imagery.

Although each space had its own aesthetic and dynamic, they all shared the same goal: generating quality visual content integrated into the event experience.

From the set to the main screen

The experience didn't end once the photograph was taken.

Every guest could access their images instantly via QR codes, allowing direct downloads straight to their own devices.

The event also periodically pulled together the photographs generated across the different settings to project them on a large screen in the main hall.

The images became part of the event's own unfolding narrative.

They weren't just an individual keepsake.

They also helped build a shared experience for every attendee.

Why a photographic experience for corporate events goes beyond a photocall

As corporate events grow more complex, attendee expectations evolve alongside them.

Photography is no longer just about documenting what happens.

It can become a tool for personalizing the experience, reinforcing brand identity, and generating relevant content in real time.

That's why, when we work on projects like this, our role isn't limited to setting up a camera in front of a backdrop.

It means integrating photographic systems, personalization technology and instant content distribution so the visual experience becomes an active part of the event.

Because when photography is well integrated, it stops being an isolated element.

It becomes part of what attendees remember.
